Tutorial on how to attach screenshots to reports

Hi guys, this is a tutorial on how to attach screenshots to your report (well you can use this way to attach screenshots to any post)

So to screenshot on 1.6 all you do is push the F2 button on your keyboard and it will save you screenshot in your .minecraft\screenshots folder which you can find (if you haven't already) by typing in %appdata% in the search menu on your start bar, it should pull up a folder called roaming. IN that folder you will find your .minecraft folder, then go to  the screenshots folder in the .minecraft folder.

To screenshot in 1.7 you can also push F2 but you cannot scroll the chat and screenshot so its kinda useless for reporting. The way I recommend to screenshot is with bandicam. To download bandicam if you haven't already. Go to www.bandicam/download/ing/ Push the tab *Downoad now* the one that is circled below.

Once you have pushed it this should come up. Push Save File

Once it has finished Click the open folder selection (if you dont get a selection you will find it in your downloads folder) Click the bdcamsetup icon and follow the prompts. Just a quick suggestion when you get up to the choose components section, unclick all the boxes or else you will have useless toolbars...Take note of the destination folder because thats where your screenshots and videos will go (its usually just in program files) Once its finished downloading a tab will come up saying you have downloaded successfully, it will also have tutorials on how to use bandicam which I advise you watch

So you now know how to screenshot time to show you how to attach them to a post.

So to report Login (or sign up if you havent already) to DovertyCraft. Click on the DovertyCraft tab

Then click on the Reports tab



Once you are in the reports section click on the create thread tba in the top right corner.



Enter the relevant subject in the subject section.



Once you have entered the subject, fill in the Player/Reason section. Then click on the picture of a landscape near the smilies button.



It should pull up a box like this.



Leave doverty minimised for the moment and in a new tab go to Imgur.com You should find yourself at the home page. Click on the Register tab if you havent registered for Imgur before (its free by the way) and click the sign in tab if you have registered before.



If you clicked the sign in tab skip this next step. Once you have clicked on the register tab a list of information needing to be filled out will come up, enter the relevant info and push register.



If you pushed the sign in tab enter what you would usually enter to sign in.



Once you have either signed in or registered you will come to your home page. On the right side there should be a Computer tab. Click on it



This box should come up. Click on the screenshot you want to add (From wherever your sceenshots are etc..minecraft for 1.6 and program files or doocuments for 1.7) and push open.




There should be a little bar on the right saying uploading.Once it has finished uploading the screenshot you just added will be in your images section. Click on the picture you added.



A box should come up, click on the *Direct Link (Email and IM)* tab.



Once you have pushed it and it says copied, go back to your dovertycraft tab and press paste in the box, then push insert image.



And there you go, you have just put in a screenshot into a post
