There are 4 mods I would recommend getting:
1.Optifine - Optifine helps many things including FPS (Frames per second),this can help people who have slow computers. The more FPS more, the more of a chance it will reduce lag; it also includes a zoom in button (left Control) and helps HD texture-packs (now known as resource-packs), for e.g. The Faithful 32x32. Picture:
2.Mini-Map - The Mini-Map is basically what u would think, Its a Mini-map, but is comes with other things like waypoints, death points, and its just helpful when ur lost, so yeah...PICTURE TIME!!!
3.Too Many Items - Also known as TMI, this just adds a whole invetory of all the items in minecraft! and tell u the ID of the item and u can now inchant, make poitions (like all poitions in one , fireworks (I put everything in and call it Unicorn poop), so yeah more pictures!
WARNING: This is only for FAST computers!!!
P.S for the WARNING: DO NOT put Optifine together with this mod (It wont work)!
4. The Unbelievable Shaders mod - LOOK AT THE DAYUM PICTURE AND U WILL GET THE IDEA!
